When I was 15 years old, I got into parkour and freerunning. It took me lots of months and pain to do my first cartwheel. But after a year, I was doing back- and frontflips and lots of other crazy stuff. That's when I bought my first Mini DV camcorder and got in the world of filmmaking. I was trying to make my friends and me look as good as possible on tape. With the help of a wide angle adapter and lots of low angle shots, I made our jumps seem much more spectacular than they actually were. A very useful skill for corporate & commercial work. From there on, I always carried a camera with me, wherever I went. I love my job and I love being free, that's why I am now freelancing as a colorist, DoP and editor.
